Early Voting is managed by the Dutchess County Board of Elections, and therefore one may visit any of the identified Early Voting locations in Dutchess. (Stanford’s polling location is not available for early voting.)

Next General Election is November 3rd, 2026, polls open from 6am to 9pm.
Absentee or Early Mail Voting requires you request a ballot well in advance of the election. While mail-based voting remains legal in New York, mail-in ballots sent through our federally controlled mail are facing federal restrictions and delays. If you are able to get to the polls, the surest way to make sure your vote counts is to cast it early, in person by Early Voting instead.
